นกบางชนิดที่คาดว่าน่าจะพบในไทย เนื่องจากมีการแพร่กระจาย อยู่ในประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน อาจพบตามแนวป่ารอยตะเข็บตามแนวชายแดน หรือบนภูเขาสูง ที่ยังสำรวจไม่ทั่วถึง เช่นยอดโมโกจู อุทยานแห่งชาติแม่วงก์ หรือแถบเทือกเขาตะนาวศรี อุทยานแห่งชาติแก่งกระจาน เป็นต้น หรือ เป็นนกอพยพ ที่มี เส้นทาง เฉียดผ่านประเทศไทย ไปยังคาบสมุทรมาลายา หรือ ออสเตรเลีย บางชนิดได้ถูกค้นพบแล้ว (ย้ายไปแสดงในหน้านก ที่พบ ในปัจจุบัน ) ภาพที่นำมาแสดง จะใช้ขนาดใหญ่กว่าปกติ เพื่อให้เห็นชัดเจน เต็มตา หวังว่าในอนาคต จะได้เห็นภาพที่ถ่ายโดยฝีมือคนไทยบ้าง ชนิดที่เหลือ จะนำมาแสดงในภาค 2 ต่อไป
