SALSA & OTHER LATIN COURSES

A Salsa course is probably the best way of learning to dance salsa. The course has many advantages and is preferred to the ocassional one-off class. Most salsa courses run for between 6- 12 weeks and structured to ensure that the students gain a full understanding of the basics.

Most salsa courses do not take new students after week 3. This is to avoid slowing down the progress of existing students. A salsa course enables you to progress at your own pace rather than being pressured or intimidated by those who learn faster than yourself.

Once you register for a salsa course you should try to attend every lesson. The teacher will not delay the class to allow you to catch up on lessons that you missed.The average tuiition time is 2 hours per class.

Salsa courses are amazingly inexpensive compared to one-off classes. The teacher works with a structured plan that is designed to suit your needs. More attention is paid to technique and you are regularly assessed to determine exactly how you are progressing. The teacher is also regularly assessed by A L I to ensure that standards are maintained. Most Adult Education Institutions in the major cities around the UK run salsa & other Latin courses, the majority of which are subsidised.In some cases if you are elderly ,unemployed or on benefit they give massive concessions.
