Hello & welcome to our website. We hope that you enjoy browsing our website.Our Group forms part of Hadrian District Scouts & we are based in the market town of Hexham, 20 miles west of the city of Newcastle upon Tyne (The Toon). Our website contains information on our Group, our headquarters, the Lookwide Centre & our local District campsite at Dilston.   

On behalf of everyone at the 1st Hexham Scout Group, I wish you all a very happy new year. 2008 has now arrived and we are all looking forward to the Northumberland 100 year celebrations that will be taking place to mark 100 years since the first official Scout camp in the world was held in our District.
The Leaders have been busy compiling this years programme of events & activities & a big thank you to all the Scouts who have contributed ideas for this years programme. Full details should shortly be made available to all Scouts early in January. Good Scouting & enjoy the year !
