Today (July 7th, 2007) was the day that we arranged for Roberta's baptism. Roberta made a decision to be baptized for the remission of her sins and to be a follower of Christ. Roberta is 15 years old. On December 23^rd she will be 16 years old. Roberta is studying the Bible for a long time. She started to study with me on January 5^th, 2007. She used to come to the lessons almost every week. From the very first lesson it was seen that Roberta has good knowledge of the Bible and good heart. It was always a pleasure to study with her. Roberta was thinking about baptism already last year, but she needed some more learning of the Gospel. So, Roberta was continuing her learning and one day she made the most important decision in her life. She decided to follow Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She decided to be baptized. At July 7^th, 2007 we decided to meet in the Bible Center at 10 a.m. and then to go to the sea. Roberta came with her mother Dalia. Also, Sabina came with her children, Saidas and Safyra. It was a windy and rainy day. At about 10:30 a.m. we left the Bible Center and took a bus to a ferry terminal. Then we went to Smiltyne at the seashore of the Baltic. The sea was very wavy, but it didn't frighten Roberta. Roberta was baptized for the remission of her sins. We were very happy to be witnesses of this event. Then we came back to the Bible Center. Sabina and Roberta made a very delicious meal. And we had lunch together. Then we had some songs together, and I made some devotional comments about the importance and one's dedication to follow Christ. Praise the Lord for this wonderful day!
