Strode Theatre's JULY FILM PROGRAMME Opens for public booking on Monday 23rd June, from children's adventure (NIM'S ISLAND) to spine chilling mystery (THE ORPHANAGE); from a powerful contemporary retelling of an ancient story (SON OF MAN) to the contemporary story of a man whose time has come (GARBAGE WARRIOR); from the birth of the American football league in the 1920s (LEATHERHEADS) via black life and music in the Deep South of the 1950s (HONEYDRIPPER) to the children of today's South Africa (WE ARE TOGETHER); and from the illicit liaisons of 19th century French nobility (THE LAST MISTRESS) to those of the poet Dylan Thomas (THE EDGE OF LOVE), the July programme at Strode Theatre has something for every age and mood. In a one-off arrangement the Theatre has produced a folded leaflet just for the film screenings in the month of July, as opposed to the usual 24 page quarterly colour brochure. Please contact the theatre to make sure you receive a copy, even if you already are on the Strode Theatre mailing list. The autumn programme will be released in the second half of August and will be sent automatically to the whole mailing list as usual. To request your free copy of the July film leaflet, please contact Strode Theatre on 01458 442846, or you can have an electronic version e-mailed to you by sending your request to theatre@strode-college.ac.uk. The programme will also be available as a download on www.strodetheatre.co.uk.
