Llangollen Railcars have been happy to co-operate with Menter Iaith in the provision of several charter trains to assist Welsh learners improve their knowledge of the language. |

Always well attended by children the charters make use of the Public Address systems installed in our trains to help passengers understand the words for the world around them. |

The first of these trips was organised to celebrate Owain Glyndwr Day and gave local Welsh speakers chance to meet up with learners. Since then the trains have been a regular feature. |

The trains are worked into the timetable so that normal passenger services are not disrupted. They are one of a number of special services worked by Llangollen Railcars, which also include Bio-Diversity specials and Bird-Watching Trains. |
