During 2010 and 2011 the class 141 unit has been operating at the Weardale Railway, which runs for 15 miles from Bishop Auckland to Stanhope - here are a selection of pictures of it in action. |

141113 has just cleared Witton-le-Wear level crossing and is passing the site on which the Weardale Railway hopes to construct another station. The photograph was taken during the Summer of 2010 by John Lewin.

During the bad weather of the WInter of 2010/11 141113 was used for over 40 continuous days, running at times when all the local roads were blocked by heavy snow. It is seen here at Stanhope as the snow begins to fall again. Picture Phil Wallis.
