141113 has just cleared Witton-le-Wear level crossing and is passing the site on which the Weardale Railway hopes to construct another station. The photograph was taken during the Summer of 2010 by John Lewin.
Shortly after leaving Bishop Auckland the Weardale Railway passes over the Etherley Viaduct. 141113 is seen heading for Stanhope on a line which had not seen passenger services for many years up until the 2010 reopening. Picture John Lewin.

During the bad weather of the WInter of 2010/11 141113 was used for over 40 continuous days, running at times when all the local roads were blocked by heavy snow. It is seen here at Stanhope as the snow begins to fall again. Picture Phil Wallis.
