Now this is definitely not a participatory activity!
The building of the bullring, Plaza de Toros, began during the reign of Isabel II, and was finished in 1852.
It was built on land given by the Paules monks, who owned the land after it was bequeathed by a devout parishioner.
In 1950, after its rebuilding, it was reinaugurated with a great programme of bullfighters including Pepe Gallardo, El Litri and Aparicio.
In the past, there was a lot of interest, with plenty of bullfights by local amateur bullfighters during the summer.
At present the bullfighting takes place mainly during the festival - Virgin of Las Angustias.
