It all started when He was around 8 years old, when his father came home one day from work.
Most of his friends were into Cliff Richard but he wasn't interested in music that was until
his father gave him those records, that was when he discovered Elvis Presley there was also
Mr Roy Orbison, the big O.You know that Sam Phillips was a clever man, then he put this song on it was on a 45

The song was called Bossa nova baby, and dear Lord he was hooked
He told me that this voice was like none he had ever heard in his entire 8 years of being on this planet, well he found that if he cupped his little hand
To his ear, and also to his mouth at the same time he could hear his voice more clearly whilst learning Elvis Presley vocal mannerisms.And also having his other ear against the speaker of the record player, it is a wonder the he didn't become deaf.

It took him years to master Elvis's voice but once he did, and  wherever he went in life he would sing Elvis Presley songs and in school his classmates would gather to hear him sing like the king, 

After a couple of months of leaving school  he joined the merchant navy , little coasters and huge tankers he worked on, always looking for that Place that echo'd the QE11  was one of the fine ships he had worked on, new York and back to Southampton,
He stayed in the merchant navy for five years until he was made redundant, He joined the 1st battalion Grenadier Guards.
Whenever he would go for a 14 mile run they would usually get him at the front and they would ask him to sing

As his friends all joined in with him it was a great moral booster, Northern Ireland,Pirbright in Surrey,Buckingham Palace, the tower of London,St James's Palace he guarded them also trooping the colour, the Queens birthday parade, Germany Berlin for a year and a half where he guarded Hess in Spandau, these were all moments in His life that he is very proud of.

On leaving the army he won his first competition impersonating Elvis Presley and from that he got his first booking in a place called The Droyslden working men's club,
He was so chuffed he was actually paid £20, but on getting outside the wind was so strong it blew the notes out of his hand, But believe me he soon got them back.

In 1983 he got his very first TV appearance on Friday night live with Suzy mathis, Also on the show with him was Leigton Summers, please forgive me if I have spelt his Name wrong, He told me that leighton was a very nice man. Things really took off for Elvin once he had a couple of years under his belt treading the boards of the north West night clubs. 

Elvin is a full time Professional Elvis Presley Impersonator, It has taken him all over the world and has given Elvin TV appearances on numerous ocassions ie the Orange mobile Network Advert which was filmed in Rumanian for Israel TV, this you will fined on his Video page. He has met & performed for some wonderful people, And with no doubt there is a lot more places and faces for him to see.

 Elvin really enjoys the Weddings that he performs for up and down the country, From lands end to john o'Groats, no distance is too far for Elvin.

I can't help but think and know, That anyone who touches Elvis Presley like Elvin Priestley has in anyway, Will be blessed as I know Elvis Presley was definitely blessed By our God the father.

One of his proudest moments was singing in Croatia at the Dubrovnick Palace Hotel for the Princess of Monaco, Princess Stefany, Grace Kelly's daughter, a very beautiful Lady too.

January 2008, he appeared at the Taj Mahal Hotel in Mombai, India.

RNID Scotland "To Break the Sound Barrier" with spectacular Sound and Light Show on Princes Street - 16 October 2006

As part of it's "Breaking the Sound Barrier" Campaign, RNID Scotland, the national charity representing the 758,000 deaf and hard of hearing people in Scotland, has chosen Edinburgh to showcase a free, spectacular Sound and Light Show supported by Barclays.

Top Elvis impersonator, Elvin Priestley, performed and launched the stunning 'Sounds of the 60s' show, which was broadcast on the 18 October 2006 at the front of Jenners, Edinburgh's prestigious department store on Princes Street, creating a fun evening of music and nostalgia.

BBC1 Manchester radio station, speaking about being an Elvis impersonator and his forthcoming show "Elvis The Wonder of You" on 28th of May 2007.

And again later he appeared on Manchester's very own TV channel, Channel M to promote his theatre show "ELVIS - THE WONDER OF YOU ".
