Sometimes our decks have several levels. The edge treatment below decks can be one of several alternatives e.g. decking plank as here or contrasting plank perhaps trellis or bamboo maybe? Its all a matter of choice or individual taste to suite your garden.

Here we provided a neat little deck and pergola over what was old very worn concrete. Hiding ugly drainage and extending a warm friendly deck surface up to side gate by property. The owners were delighted with the transformation

This delightfull deck was set in a recess below normal garden ground level next to a stream and contained by stone walling. Note the rope between posts. The angular step entry and the neat cutout trimming around the tree. This deck was bliss for its owners who wrote us a very nice thankyou note.

Although not exactly flat ground.This deck perhaps is considered as flat or marginally raised and would suite a number of gardens with slight slopes. It covered an otherwise useless part of the garden and with owners water feature added at rear, all looked quite stunning! The bamboo and little seat just set it off.A transformation was the result.

The little courtyard deck below transformed a rather dreary backyard into a useful entertaining and relax area.
