As well as providing a full range of groceries and provisions, the Etchingham Community Stores can also offer a number of other services.
Services currently offered are;
Dry Cleaning - Shoe Repairs - Photocopying - Laminating and a Fax Service.
There is a Community Information Point, installed by East Sussex County Council and Rother District Council. The Information Point offers access to a wide range of web sites, completely FREE of charge, and you can print off web pages, also FREE, you can also send e-mails, again completely FREE. You can send e-mails and opt not to receive replies to your messages, or you can have the reply sent to your normal e-mail address, alternatively you can have the option to access your replies at any of the Information Points in East Sussex, in this case you will be given a password to access your replies. The Information Point also prints excellant photographs from most camera and phone memory cards and CD's, these cost just 20p each.
At busy times, if there is only one volunteer on duty, it might be difficult to obtain some services such as photocopying, faxing and printing.

Dry Cleaning
The Etchingham Community Stores is an agent for dry cleaning and laundry, repairs and alterations can also be taken in.
Items left for cleaning or repair are collected every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Under normal circumstances, items left for cleaning on Monday will be back on Wednesday (Wednesday - Friday) (Friday - Monday).
Items that require repair or alteration take a couple of days longer, normally items left for repair or alteration on Monday will be back on Friday (Wednesday - Monday) (Friday - Wednesday).
At busy periods and Bank Holidays, cleaning will take a couple of days extra to come back.

Shoe Repairs
Bring in the boots or shoes that require repair, with details of what repair is needed.
You will be given a collection receipt to retrieve them when they are ready.
Boots and shoes for repair are collected Monday, Wednesday & Friday, under normal circumstances, shoes left on Monday are ready for collection on Friday (Wednesday - Monday) (Friday - Wednesday).
Please make sure you leave precise instructions with the shoes.

Fax Service
The Etchingham Community Stores offers a Fax Service, just bring your documents that you want sent to the shop counter at any time during opening hours.
The cost of sending a fax is £1 per A4 page
This price is for any UK phone number, calls to other numbers by negotiation.
You can have faxes sent to the shop for you to collect, please tell us that you are expecting a fax to be sent, the charge for recieving faxes is 10 pence per page.

We can offer a photocopying service, up to A4 size.
Black & White copies
A4 = 10 pence per page
A5 = 8 pence per page
Colour copies
A4 = 20 pence per page A5 = 15 pence per page

Laminating
We are able to laminate documents and other paper items, currently we can only offer A4 size at a cost of £1 per sheet.
Cannot always be done on the same day, you may need to leave the items for laminating and collect the next day.
