Welcome to the Dallas/Ft.Worth Chapter of the Colored Pencil Society of America.
CPSA Mission: The Colored Pencil Society (CPSA) is a national organization dedicated to the education and support of artists and art lovers interested in the colored pencil medium. Based in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, the CPSA Dallas District Chapter is a vibrant group of people excited about bringing that dedication to the greater Texas region. This District Chapter is responsible for: Promoting colored pencil art through education both of its members and of the general community. Conducting art shows that feature use of the colored pencil medium and encouraging awareness of colored pencil art through community projects. Our goal is to support colored pencil artists seeking experience and exposure within the community and the open market. We meet the second Saturday of every other month, beginning in January, at 2pm in Schimelpfenig Library, 5024 Custer Road in Plano, Tx (unless otherwise posted). If you are a colored pencil artist, or if you are interested in learning more about colored pencil, please join us at our next meeting which will be March 13th. Have a wonderful new year! The members of DC 215
We are proud to announce three of our chapter members were featured in the CPSA National 17th Annual Exhibition and that our chapter president, Linda Lucas Hardy, received the Award for Outstanding Achievement !
