The business killed Brian Pillman
By BRET "THE HIT MAN" HART
For the Calgary Sun
A lot of guys live for this bizarre business.
That might not be their intention, but they fall in love with her and by the time love turns to a familiar seductress, they're addicted. Addicted to the action and the admiration.
Accustomed to a lifestyle where the miles behind you in the morning deceive you into thinking you're unaccountable for what you did last night.
There's no off-season, no time out, valor gets attached to martyrdom.
You look for ways to endure the physical pain of a broken body and hope you don't become so numb that you end up with a broken spirit. In the ring, you're a superhero and you search down deep inside to make that strength real. It's dangerous to forget that even Superman had his kryptonite.
Owen Hart
The youngest of the Hart boys, Owen was last into the squared circle.
He explained his wrestling roots in the February 1993 issue of Saturday Night.
"I wanted to be a phys ed teacher. I wrestled only to appease my father. I was compelled to get into the ring. Once I started there was the pressue of having the Hart name -- I was expected to be good."
When he made his WWF debut as the Blue Blazer, he went nowhere. Trapped beneath the mask, he didn't come close to the success he had in either Stampede or Japan. It wasn't until he lost the Blazer gimmick and turned heel on his brother Bret that his career took off.
His match against Bret at WrestleMania X was one of the greatest matches of the 90s, full of emotion, intensity and drama, capped off with Owen's surprise win. From there, momentum took over for Owen. He won the King of the Ring in 1994 (and declared himself the King of Harts), won the tag team titles with brother-in-law Davey Boy Smith and on April 28, 1997, he won his first singles belt, the Intercontinental title, from Rocky Maivia.
There is no question that it was the heel turn that made the difference for Owen Hart. As a babyface, he just didn't have what the fans were looking for. Sure he was clean-cut, athletic and an exciting wrestler, he just didn't catch anyone's imagination. As a heel, he was able to vent his frustrations and go straight to the top.
When Bret left the WWF in November 1997, followed shortly thereafter by Jim Neidhart and The British Bulldog, the WWF got behind Owen and gave him a bigger push, as a sort of lone wolf. The fans took to him again, especially against De-Generation X (Shawn Michaels & Hunter Hearst-Helmsley).
He floundered for a while in the WWF, winning the fairly meaningless European title until hitting his stride again as a tag team wrestler, this time with fellow second generation wrestler Jeff Jarrett.
The Blue Blazer also started returning on occasion.
On May 23, 1999 at the Over The Edge PPV, Owen Hart was killed by a fall from the rafters in the Kemper Arena in Kansas City. For more on the accident, and the stories and memories that followed, see our Owen Hart section.

B.B.
A longtime EMT for the World Wrestling Federation, Barbara Bush (aka B.B.) only appeared when one of the Federation's superstars was injured. That all changed when Ivory dared to interfere while B.B. was assisting a superstar, causing the medical worker to fight back … with a vengeance!
Although B.B. is an EMT by trade, she's been drawn into active competition on more than one occasion. She's even challenged for the Federation's Women's Championship in the past, so there's no telling just where B.B.'s Federation experience will lead her next!
Tori
Since her arrival in the World Wrestling Federation, fans have seen many sides of this beautiful diva. Originally a fan who would travel from arena to arena to see her favorite Superstars, Tori has since made a successful transition to the competitive roster.
Tori can now be found at the side of X-Pac and his fellow DX members. Unfortunately for Kane, her relationship came at his expense, as she turned her back on the Big Red Machine, opting for a relationship with the degenerate.
Mae Young
Mae Young is one of the most well-known and respected female superstars in sports-entertainment history. Mae and her friend the Fabulous Moolah shocked the world when they returned to active competition in the World Wrestling Federation during the later stages of 1999.
Even though she is in her late seventies, Mae Young still packs quite a whallop in the ring. We've seen Mae give the much younger Ivory a good, healthy pounding on more than one occasion. In addition, Mae Young has taken some big hits herself, but no matter how many times she flies over the top rope or gets shoved onto the mat, Mae gets right back up again, more ready to fight than ever!
Fabulous Moolah
The Federation Legend
The Fabulous Moolah is truly a World Wrestling Federation legend. Aside from being a Hall of Famer, she also is the first female athlete in the Federation to compete while in her seventies! Moolah recently made her return to active competition, along with her friend Mae Young, and defeated Ivory for the Women's Championship.
Terri
Despite not being an active competitor, Terri is one of the most powerful women on the World Wrestling Federation roster. However, her power doesn't have anything to do with how much she can bench press. Rather, Terri has an unbelievable domination over men. The "Terri Invitational Tournament" illustrated this power when Christian & Edge and The Hardys competed in several grueling matches to earn her managerial services.
Matt and Jeff Hardy went on to won the tournament, and the Terri's managerial services. However, the two sides have since severed ties. An emotional Terri left the Hardys, stating they were not there for her when she was hospitalized after being powerbombed through a table at the hands of Buh Buh Ray Dudley.
Trish Stratus
Trish Stratus.... Just saying those words makes men's mouths water. This young blonde bombshell first appeared in the Federation during a Sunday Night HEAT taping in March of 2000. During that taping, Trish made her way to the ramp twice -- once checking out Test, the other time to check out Prince Albert. The next night on RAW, the formation of the tag team of Test and Albert -- appropriatly titled T & A -- appeared by the side of the dazzling beauty. Since then, Trish has led the team to many big match-ups, including the team's first WrestleMania appearance where they took on Al Snow and Steve Blackman.
Chyna
The Ninth Wonder of the World
Career Highlights: Intercontinental Champion (2)
As the song says ... "Don't treat me like a woman, don't treat me like a man ... don't treat me like you know me ... treat me for just who I am!"
Chyna has proven her mettle in the ring. She was first woman ever to compete in both the Royal Rumble and the King of the Ring tournament! Then, she became the first-ever female Intercontinental Champion at October 1999's No Mercy. After all these accolades, World Wrestling Federation fans voted her "Diva of the Year!"
The sultry diva is not afraid of anyone, and is a hero and role model to millions of Federation fans, male and female.
Debra
Career Highlight: Women's Champion
Debra's appearance is one of a shrewd businesswoman and her attitude is no different. She believes she knows everything there is to know about every superstar in the Federation, and is convinced that with her knowledge, any superstar become more successful than ever. She also knows how to use her sexuality to achieve her ends. She has proven this time and again. She will flaunt her gorgeous body, even to the point of stripping, to get whatever she wants.
Stephanie McMahon
From: Greenwich, Connecticut
Career highlights: Women's Champion (current)
Intelligent, beautiful and enterprising… these three words sum up Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley perfectly. Unfortunately for her family – and the rest of the Federation roster – the youngest McMahon chose to use these assets for her own advantage. Now married to Triple H, and aligned with her father, Vince, and her brother, Shane, Stephanie and the gang have the World Wrestling Federation in the palm of their hands, and it will never be the same again!
The Kat
Career Highlights: Women's Champion
Ever since her debut in the World Wrestling Federation, the Kat has undergone a radical transformation. Originally a personal assistant with the moniker of "Miss Kitty," she has now established herself as a strong, independent woman. Taking a cue from Chyna (right down to the ring apparel), the Kat will never be forced into the background again.
Nobody knows the Kat's plans for the future, but if her newfound confidence is any indication, she'll continue to be one of the most influential personalities in the Federation!
Ivory
Career Highlights: Federation Women's Champion (2)
This feisty superstar has been turning heads ever since she first stepped foot in the World Wrestling Federation. Ivory has definitely made her presence felt, as she is not afraid to mix it up. In the time that she has been with the Federation she has already managed to make life uncomfortable for many superstars, men and women alike.
Jacqueline
Career Highlight: Women's Champion (2)
Jacqueline is one of the strongest, most athletic women on the World Wrestling Federation roster. In fact, her attributes rival those of many of the Federation's men. On numerous occasions, she has been known to mix it up in the ring with many of the Federation's male competitors.
Occasionally, Jacqueline will rekindle her competitive fire, competing in matches in the heated women's division or teaming with male superstars for mixed tag-team competition.
Jacqueline recently defeated Harvey Wippleman to become a two-time WWF Women's Champion.
Vince McMahon
Distinguished owner of the World Wrestling Federation
In 1982, Vincent K. McMahon bought his father's wrestling company, the Capitol Wrestling Corporation, and set out to realize the vision known today as the World Wrestling Federation. Like other professional wrestling operations of the time, Capitol was a regional enterprise. Vincent K. McMahon's combination of sports and entertainment gave the Federation an appeal that attracted a much broader audience than before.
Since that time, the World Wrestling Federation has become the recognized leader in sports-entertainment, attracting half a billion global viewers each week in addition to enormous live event success. In addition, the Federation is home to some of the greatest athletes in the world, from realms such as boxing, football, powerlifting, basketball, Ultimate Fighting and much more. It's a formula for success that Mr. McMahon uses to drive the Federation to new heights of prosperity each year, while at the same time giving the fans the entertainment value they rightfully deserve. It's the era of "Attitude" at its finest, and the McMahon family is the proud catalyst.

Brooklyn Brawler
Longtime fans remember the Brawler for the years he has dedicated to making other superstars look good. From World Wrestling Federation Champions to low midcarders, the Brawler has never had a problem, to paraphrase Shawn Michaels, "laying down for anybody." In fact, one of the Brawler’s career highlights came against the Heartbreak Kid. After winning a battle royal (that’s right, winning) at Madison Square Garden in late 1997, the Brawler earned the right to face the Federation Champion -- Michaels at the time -- in front of thousands at MSG. Of course, the Brawler was promptly defeated, but he can tell his grandchildren that he once faced Shawn Michaels in the main event at the World’s Most Famous Arena.
Several years ago, the Brawler also appeared at a WrestleMania! He accompanied his then-manager Bobby Heenan to the ring at WrestleMania V so that "The Brain" could be stomped -- like the Brawler himself -- by the Red Rooster.
The Brawler retired from active "competition" a few years ago, but he makes an appearance from time to time whenever another superstar needs to break a sweat -- or whenever a situation calls for laugh-out-loud comedy. For example, at 1998’s Fully Loaded, Mr. McMahon provided one of the most humorous moments of the year when he called on the Brooklyn Brawler to "replace" the Undertaker and team up with Stone Cold Steve Austin for the main event. Unfortunately for the Brawler’s millions and millions of fans, the Undertaker eventually showed up at the arena, and the Brawler’s services were not necessary.
Although his won-loss record may not be the most impressive, the Brawler is one of the most entertaining competitors in Federation history -- perfect for the world of sports-entertainment.

Paul Bearer
Favorite Quote: "I'm Paul Bearer and you're not!"
First arriving into the World Wrestling Federation as the Undertaker's keeper, Paul Bearer turned on the phenom and masterminded an evil plot to destroy the former Federation Champion. But when the Undertaker decided he wanted to return to the Dark Side, he reunited with the "evil, detestable" Bearer to keep him focused on the task at hand.
Their union has once again been severed, as Paul has since aligned himself with his son, Kane. Together, the duo have been punishing nearly every Superstar on the roster.
Bull Buchanan
Bull Buchanan quietly made his way into the Federation scene in March 2000. Teaming with his partner in crime, the Boss Man, Bull has already become a force in the WWF. Just weeks after his first appearance in the Federation, Buchanan teamed with Boss Man to take on the Godfather and D'Lo at WrestleMania, and there Bull impressed more than a few with his dazzling technical manuevers in the ring.
With the Boss Man at his side, Bull Buchanan has the size, strength and wrestling ability to go far during his tenure here in the WWF.
Mean Street Posse
From: Greenwich, CT
Singles highlights:
Pete Gas - Hardcore Champion (2)
Rodney - Hardcore Champion
Joey Abs - Hardcore Champion
Growing up on the mean streets of Greenwich wasn't easy for Shane McMahon's closest friends. However, Rodney, Pete Gas and Joey Abs toughed it out. The trio learned what it meant to be fierce on the mean streets. Now they have carried that mentality over to the World Wrestling Federation, where they practice Shane's theory of "everyday somebody's got to pay."
Despite being the meanest guys in Greenwich, Rodney and Pete Gas have lacked success in their limited time in the ring, which includes a loss in a "Loser Leaves the Federation Match." However, their spot on the Federation roster will never be in jeopardy.
Joey Abs, on the other hand, has already proven that he can take care of himself between the ropes. Shane saw limitless potential in his childhood friend, and enrolled him in the World Wrestling Federation training camp. When he completed the camp, Joey was more determined, more focused and more brutal than ever before.
After being in the Federation for just under a year, the Mean Street Posse won its first televised match on the Mar. 13, 2000, edition of RAW as Pete Gas defeated Crash Holly to win the Hardcore Championship. Eight seconds later, however, Crash retained his belt.

Shane McMahon
Height: 6’2"
Weight: 230 pounds
From: "Mean Streets" of Greenwich, Connecticut
Finishing Move: Clobbering his opponent with a foreign object
Career Highlights: Retired the European Title as an undefeated champion
Shane McMahon was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, the likes of which have never before been seen. As the only son of Vince and Linda McMahon, Shane became the heir apparent to the World Wrestling Federation throne the second he left the womb.
Now, aligned with his father, Vince, and his sister, Stephanie, Shane is once again trying his hardest to make working in the Federation for the other superstars a living hell.
Test
Height: 6' 6"
Weight: 282 pounds
From: Toronto, Ontario
Finishing Move: Flying elbow drop
Career Highlights: Hardcore Champion
World Wrestling Federation cameras first spotted this former Motley Crüe bodyguard when the band made an appearance on Federation programming. Since then, Test has become one of the brightest young stars on the roster.
Upon entering the Federation, Test aligned himself with Mr. McMahon and his Corporation. However, when the power of the Corporation shifted to Shane McMahon’s hands, Test quickly severed ties. Currently with Prince Albert, Test now is part of the Trish Stratus-led tag team -- T & A.
As one of the youngest superstars on the Federation roster, Test has a bright future ahead of him. At well over 6' tall and close to 300 pounds, Test will be a force to be reckoned with for many years to come.
Albert
Height: 6'7"
Weight: 380 pounds
From: Boston, MA
Finishing move: Sit-down powerbomb
A graduate of the World Wrestling Federation's training camp, Albert is one of the most powerful and colorful superstars on the roster. His power moves, including his finishing maneuver, the sit-down powerbomb, is the stuff of nightmares!
Now, Albert finds himself tagging with Test in the Trish Stratus-led tag team, T & A. With her looks and guidance, the already hot tag team division is about to boil over!
Droz
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 270 pounds
From: May's Landing, NJ
Darren Drozdov joined the World Wrestling Federation in 1998, accompanying the Legion of Doom to the ring as their acquaintance. Known then simply as "Puke," Droz, a former football star with the University of Maryland Terrapins and the Denver Broncos, built quite a reputation for being able to vomit at a moment's notice.
After leaving LOD to become a singles competitor, fans became aware of several of Droz's eccentricities, including his "different" look -- cut-off pajama shorts, numerous tattoos and body piercings -- and his affinity for snakes.
In fact, Droz introduced his personal tattoo artist, Prince Albert, to the WWF. Joined by the Prince, Droz dished out punishment, and a few piercings, in both singles and tag team competition in the subsequent months.
Al Snow
Height: 6'
Weight: 234 pounds
From: Lima, Ohio
Finishing Move: Snow Plow
Career Highlights: Hardcore Champion (3); Tag Team Champion
Distressed over treatment by Federation brass in the past, Al Snow claims he has been psychologically traumatized as a result of his former "gimmicks," which include Avatar and Leif Cassidy. This has all driven Snow to take directions from "Head," a disembodied mannequin head he carries with him.
Steve Blackman
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 246 pounds
From: Annville, Pennsylvania
Finishing move: The Guillotine
The pure wrestling machine that is the "Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman shows little emotion inside the squared circle. He lets his martial arts prowess do the talking. His reflexes are to be feared, as Blackman can deliver several kicks and punches with lightening-quick authority.
Triple H
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 246 pounds
From: Greenwich, Connecticut
Finishing Move: Pedigree
Career Highlights: Federation Champion (3), Intercontinental Champion (2), European Champion (2), 1997 King of the Ring
Triple H's career took a dramatic upward swing when he enlisted the services of his female bodyguard, Chyna. The duo joined forces with Shawn Michaels to form D-Generation X and change the face of the World Wrestling Federation forever. After Shawn took time off for injuries, Triple H asserted himself as a premier superstar by taking over as leader of the faction.
But one year later, Triple H went from one of the most popular superstars in the Federation to one of the most hated in a matter of seconds when he turned his back on DX and aligned himself with the Shane McMahon.
Whether or not fans support Triple H, there’s no denying that his career really took off after he left DX. Like a lead singer that leaves a band for a solo career, Triple H made a statement that he wasn’t content merely to be a frontman. Triple H’s actions since he went solo have not made him popular, but they have made him successful, culminating with him capturing the Federation Championship.
Now, married to Stephanie McMahon, Hunter is back together with his old DX mates, more poised than ever to achieve his goals and prove that he is "The Game."

X-Pac
Height: 6'
Weight: 212 pounds
From: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Favorite Quote: "Your ass is grass, and I’m gonna smoke it!"
Finishing move: X-Factor Career Highlights: European Champion (2), Tag Team Champion (4)
Don’t blink. If you do during an X-Pac match, you might miss something spectacular. At just over 200 pounds, X-Pac is almost always giving up several pounds to his opponent. He makes up for that with lightning-fast quickness. You can only beat him if you can catch him. His two-time reign as European Champion proves that few superstars can.
When X-Pac (formerly the 1-2-3 Kid) made his return to the Federation on March 30, 1998, no longer was he the fresh-faced, innocent-looking kid of years past. This rebel now sports a beard and dark glasses and is one of the members of D-Generation X. He's loud, obnoxious, and not afraid to rip into someone at a moment's notice.
Road Dogg
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 236 pounds
From: Nashville, Tennessee
Favorite Quote: "Oh you didn’t know? Your ass better call somebody!"
Career highlights: Tag Team Champion (5); Hardcore Champion, Intercontinental Champion
After proving himself in the tag team division by securing the Tag Team Championship on three occasions, Road Dogg has done the same in singles competition. He was one of the first Hardcore Champions before he was stripped of the title due to injury. Just a few weeks after returning, he defeated Val Venis to become the Intercontinental Champion.
While the Road Dogg was in the ring winning titles, he attained more and more popularity with the fans. When he gets on the microphone, the crowd chants along with him. One of the most charismatic superstars in the Federation, the Road Dogg is as entertaining as he is tough.
Billy Gunn
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 268 pounds
From: Austin, Texas
Finishing move: Fame-Ass-Er
Career highlights: 1999 King of the Ring, Hardcore Champion, Tag Team Champion (8)
He was a three-time Tag Team Champion as part of the Smokin’ Gunns, but Billy Gunn achieved most of his success once he decided to become "Badd Ass."
After the Gunns went their separate ways, Billy found a new attitude along with the Road Dogg Jesse James. As the New Age Outlaws, Road Dogg and Badd Ass have captured the Tag Team Titles five times and are arguably the greatest tag team in history. One night after WrestleMania XIV, the Outlaws joined D-Generation X, the most powerful and influential factions in Federation history. Together, the Outlaws became perhaps the most popular and successful duo in Federation history.
As great as Badd Ass is in the tag team ranks, many experts say Mr. Ass could be even better in singles competition. He began to live up to those high expectations when he nearly captured the Intercontinental Championship on multiple occasions, and then secured the Hardcore Title just before WrestleMania XV.
But whether its in singles competition or the tag team division, there's no denying Mr. Ass is a phenomenal athlete -- arguably the best pound-for-pound in the Federation.

Shawn Michaels
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 227 pounds
From: San Antonio, Texas
Career Highlights: World Wrestling Federation Grand Slam Champion, 1995 and 1996 Royal Rumble winner
Perhaps the most exciting and charismatic superstar ever to grace a World Wrestling Federation ring, Shawn Michaels, the founder of the controversial D-Generation X, is the self-proclaimed ICON of sports-entertainment. Michaels holds the distinction of being the only competitor in history to capture the "Grand Slam" of the Federation (holding the Federation Title, Intercontinental Title, European Title and Tag Team Title).
Injuries have kept the Heartbreak Kid from competing in the ring since WrestleMania XIV. However, ever one to seek the spotlight, Michaels returned in November when he was named the new Commissioner of the World Wrestling Federation! Even though Mr. McMahon promised to appoint a "free thinking, independent" commissioner, Michaels’ orders, at first, seemed to have coincided with the interests of The Corporation.
When Michaels prevented The Corporation from helping Shane McMahon while he was under attack, McMahon tried to fire HBK. When that didn't work, he ordered The Corporation to ambush him. That worked. Michaels suffered severe injuries. He underwent disk surgery and was soon back in the Federation fold. He still remains unchallenged as the Federation's Commissioner, and he's out for revenge, making The Corporation's existence a miserable one.
Michaels recently opened the Shawn Michaels Wrestling Academy with his mentor, Jose Lothario, in San Antonio.

The Undertaker
Height: 6'10"
Weight: 328 pounds
From: Death Valley
Finishing Move: Tombstone Piledriver
Career Highlights: Federation Champion (3), Tag Team Champion (3)
The Undertaker is perhaps the most awesome presence the Federation has ever seen. The Man from the Dark Side has taken on a darker edge as of late, forming an unholy alliance with The Big Show. This demonic duo plans to bring about Armageddon in the World Wrestling Federation.
The Undertaker has been a haunting force since he entered the Federation at the 1990 Survivor Series. He has since transformed into a frightening power. He promises he will dominate all those who oppose him and so far he has more than lived up to those words.
Kane
Height: 7'0"
Weight: 326 lbs.
Finishing Move: Tombstone Piledriver
Career Highlights: Former World Wrestling Federation Champion, Tag Team Champion (4)
No superstar in history has made more of an immediate impact than Kane. On October 5, 1997, the world met Kane, as the seven-foot monster tore off the door to "Hell in the Cell" in order to get to his brother, the Undertaker. The siblings later fought in the first-ever Inferno Match!
Less than one year after he arrived, Kane became the World Wrestling Federation Champion by defeating Stone Cold Steve Austin at the 1998 King of the Ring. Though his reign was short-lived, the seven-foot monster proved he could live up to all expectations.
Since then, Kane has been a Tag Team Champion on three occasions. Once a man of no emotion, Kane has somewhat broken out of his shell. However, the 7-footer still remains a monster in the ring.
Mick Foley
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 297 pounds
From: East Setauket, Long Island, N.Y.
Finishing Move(s): Mandible claw, Double-arm DDT
Favorite Quote(s): "Have a Nice Day!", "Bang! Bang!", "Oooowww... Have Mercy!"
Career Highlights: Federation Champion (3), Tag Team Champion (8)
Whatever the persona, Mick Foley is one of the most respected competitors in the history of sports-entertainment. He has the reputation for enduring more pain that anyone. His maniacal personality is not just on display in the ring. Consider that he wrote his own autobiography -- but since he doesn't own a computer or even a typewriter, he filled up 760 pages of notebook paper writing freehand! That book would go on to become a No. 1 New York Times bestseller.
With his last match being at WrestleMania 2000, Mick's in-ring career is in the history books, but hopefully, someday, Foley will return once again to his home at the World Wrestling Federation.
The Rock
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 275 pounds
From: Miami, Florida
Favorite Quote: "Know Your Role!"
Finishing Move: The Rock Bottom
Career Highlights: World Wrestling Federation Champion (4) (current), Intercontinental Champion (2), Tag Team Champion (3)
The Rock is a third-generation superstar with immeasurable athleticism--and cockiness to boot! After graduating as an All-American football star from the University of Miami, Rocky Maivia entered the World Wrestling Federation and quickly became the Intercontinental Champion.
Under controversial circumstances, The Rock won the World Wrestling Federation Championship at Survivor Series 1998. The Rock went on to win the title three more times, making the "Great One" a four-time Federation Champion. He’s a gifted athlete, he’s gifted on the microphone—he’s simply a gifted entertainer. And from the Rolex watch to the $500 shirts to the eyebrow and the Corporate Elbow, The Rock is just plain cool.
Whether he’s a champion or a contender, a fan favorite or the most hated superstar on the roster, The Rock is a 27-year-old phenom. He’s already the "Most Electrifying Man in Sports-Entertainment," and when it’s all said and done he may go down in history as the most decorated, well-known and renowned superstar the Federation has ever known.

Big Show
Height: 7’ 2"
Weight: 500 pounds
From: Tampa, Florida
Finishing move: Chokeslam
Career Highlights: Federation Champion; Tag Team Champion (2)
The Big Show tore into the World Wrestling Federation—literally. He first showed up at St. Valentine’s Day Massacre in February 1999 by ripping through the ring canvas and, in an amazing display of strength, throwing Stone Cold Steve Austin through a steel cage! Since then he has proven that his big debut wasn’t a fluke. Simply put, the Big Show is a blue chipper. Whether it is lifting up an entire ring or pulling the entire Titan Tron down to the floor, he puts on a show that fans won’t soon forget.
Show realized a lifelong dream when he won the Federation Championship at 1999's Survivor Series.
After he failed to recapture the WWF Title at WrestleMania, and after his show-stealing performance on "Saturday Night Live," Big Show has decided to bring his real-life persona to the ring, which includes his ability to make people laugh. Since switching gears, Show has appeared on Federation programming dancing, as the Big Showbowski and even Fat Bastard from the "Austin Powers" movies. Who knows what could be up this monster's sleeves next.

Big Boss Man
Height: 6'6"
Weight: 315 pounds
From: Cobb County, Georgia
Finishing Move: Boss Man Slam
Career Highlights: Tag Team Champion, Hardcore Champion (4)
After being absent from the Federation for years, the Big Boss Man made his return to protect Vince McMahon from the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin and the Undertaker. It wasn’t long before the Boss Man defeated Mankind for his first Federation title – the Hardcore Championship. Soon thereafter, he teamed up with Ken Shamrock to become one half of the Tag Team Champions.
His success since returning to the Federation should come as no surprise. He has shed the excess weight which hindered his success in the past. The man from Cobb County is now quicker and more dangerous than ever before.
The Blue Meanie
Height: 6’1"
Weight: 292 pounds
From: Pepperland
The Blue Meanie is a unique individual. For one thing, he has blue hair and painted-on sunglasses. He’s eccentric, and likes to dance whenever he can.
The Meanie is now reunited with longtime friend Stevie Richards, but no one knows exactly what the two have planned. Rest assured, though... The Blue Meanie and Stevie will make their presences felt!
Chris Benoit
Height: 5’10"
Weight: 220 lbs.
Finishing move: Crippler Crossface
Career highlights: Intercontinental Champion (2) (current)
There is little doubt among those who have followed his career that Chris Benoit is one of the most skilled technical wrestlers to ever compete in sports entertainment. His style, which sometimes resembles art more than wrestling, has earned him accolades all over the world in the past decade.
As a young Canadian, Benoit was taken with the business and went on to train with the famed Stu Hart in Calgary. For years Benoit spread his talents out all over the globe. In addition to competing in Canada, he also worked in Japan, Germany and Mexico. During this time, Benoit met with a great deal of success in the New Japan promotion, where, as a Super Lightheavyweight, he put on some unbelievable matches with the likes of Jushin Liger and the Great Sasuke. Everyone began to take notice of Chris Benoit.
Although he was offered some jobs in the United States in the early part of the 90s, Benoit’s career didn’t really take off in America until he joined Extreme Championship Wrestling in 1994.
Refusing to show compassion, Benoit immediately picked up the nickname "Crippler," for the devastating condition he left his opponents in. There was no doubt that Chris showed promise as a singles competitor in ECW, but it was alongside Dean Malenko that he earned gold with the promotion.
The next step on Chris Benoit’s world tour was World Championship Wrestling. Throughout his tenure with the Atlanta-based promotion, Benoit showed amazing ability and unlimited potential.
Chris achieved nearly everything he possibly could in WCW, and this past January he topped it off by defeating Sid Vicious to become the Heavyweight Champion.
The following night before Nitro went on the air, the WCW front office elected to strip Chris Benoit of the honor he earned less than 24 hours before. Benoit was never seen on WCW television again.
Now Chris Benoit’s journey to the top has ended right where it should – on top, in the World Wrestling Federation. There is no doubt that this young man has already proven he can achieve extraordinary things inside the squared circle, and now that he’s with the WWF, his career may hit heights few have seen before.

Perry Saturn
Height: 5’10
Weight: 234 lbs.
Finishing move: Rings of Saturn
Career Highlights: Hardcore Champion
As soon as Perry Saturn walks in a room, you kind of get the feeling that he’s not someone you want to mess with. Take a closer look at his background, and you’ll realize how right you are.
At an age when most young boys are busy learning the alphabet, Perry started his training in Judo Kwan and Kempo Karate. He continued with both disciplines until age 17, at which time he joined the U.S. Army. After achieving Airborne Ranger Status with the service, Perry moved to Boston where he began training under the legendary Killer Kowalski.
For the next few years, Perry split his time between Kowalski’s New England-based Independent promotion and New Japan. Among the many titles he won in these promotions was a reign as Tag Team Champion with his partner – Triple H, who was also a student of Kowalski!
In 1995 Perry joined ECW and his career really began to gain momentum. Saturn and John Kronus – who competed as the Eliminators – terrorized ECW’s tag team ranks for years, putting on some of the most memorable matches the promotion has ever witnessed. With an enormous amount of talent and an appearance as intimidating as they come, it was only a matter of time before one of the "big two" came courting Perry Saturn.
That time came in 1997 when World Championship Wrestling signed Saturn. Competing in the promotion for less than two years, Perry was able to earn some success (most notably two Tag Team Title reigns).
A dozen years after he began chasing his dream of becoming a professional wrestler, Perry Saturn has landed in the No. 1 sports entertainment company in the world. He might not have taken the most direct route to the WWF, but everyone is sure glad he’s ended up here.

Dean Malenko
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 212 lbs.
Finishing move: Texas Cloverleaf
Career highlights: Light Heavyweight Champion (2) (current)
Much like his four peers who entered the World Wrestling Federation at the same time, this seasoned grappler received accolades all over the world before making it big in the United States. Traveling the world, competing against the likes of Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero, Dean built a reputation as one of the most skilled mat technicians competing in the entire industry.
Although Malenko enjoyed success overseas, his ultimate goal always remained to make it big in this business in the U.S. When he joined Extreme Championship Wrestling, Dean finally had an avenue to showcase his extraordinary talents to the American audience.
Once again, the paths of these four radicals crossed in ECW when Malenko was involved in a legendary feud with Eddie Guerrero over the promotion’s TV Title. At one point, the two men competed in a match that concluded with a time-limit draw – 30 minutes of what is considered by many the greatest match in ECW history.
Soon after though, WCW and its money came courting Malenko and his skill. As is the case with his three associates, Malenko’s time in Atlanta will always be remembered as unfulfilling. Through battles with Chris Jericho, Eddy Guerrero and many others, it appeared Malenko was on the fast track to the top in WCW. However, there still seemed to be a "glass ceiling."
Malenko is now ready to take his opportunity in the WWF and prove to the world that he deserves to be thought of as a main-eventer.

Eddie Guerrero
Height: 5’8"
Weight: 220 lbs.
Finishing move: Frog Splash
Career highlights: European Champion (current)
Growing up, there were probably only a few days in which Eddy dreamed of being anything other than a World Wrestling Federation Superstar. His father, Gory, is recognized as the founder of lucha libre and considered by many to be the greatest professional wrestler in Mexican history. His older brothers, Chavo, Mando and Hector all joined the "family business" as well.
After competing on the collegiate level at the University of New Mexico, Eddie left the world of amateur wrestling behind to head back to El Paso, Texas, where he begun training under the watchful eye of his father. In the late 80s, the youngest Guerrero debuted in Mexico’s EMLL promotion.
Over the next few years, he garnered a great deal of success competing in the tag team ranks with his brothers. In addition, he earned titles in the singles division of the promotion, wrestling under a mask as "Mascara Magician." Once he switched over to the AAA promotion, Eddie took the mask off, and at the same time, his career took a turn for the better.
By 1993, he was splitting his time between Mexico and Japan, and regularly competing against men like Dean Malenko, Chris Benoit, 2 Cold Scorpio and Jushin "Thunder" Liger in some of the most incredible matches ever seen. Within a year, his career in Japan began to stall when promoters put him back under a mask.
Mexico was a different story though. Along with Art Barr, Rad Radford and Konnan, Guerrero formed "Los Gringos Locos," the most over "heel" clique in AAA history. Feuding with every top star in the promotion, Eddie’s career was really cooking as 1995 approached. Tragedy and bad luck intervened though, and soon Eddie was out of Mexico and without a job.
A man as talented as Eddie Guerrero wouldn’t be on the sidelines long, and he soon turned up in Extreme Championship Wrestling and won the TV Title the first night he was there. With the gold around his waist, Guerrero soon began an unforgettable feud with Dean Malenko. The two future superstars took part in one championship match that is still considered by many as the greatest in the promotion’s history.
Thanks in part to matches like that, Eddie was offered a contract by World Championship Wrestling near the end of 1995. Over the next few years while Guerrero worked in Atlanta, he was never able to establish himself as a main player. Although he was involved in a number of popular storylines, but Guerrero could never truly take control.
Eddie Guerrero has now fulfilled a family dream by entering the World Wrestling Federation. With the world of bad backstage politics behind him, there is no doubt he will go on to fulfill the expectations that everyone has always had for him.

Christian

Christian is an impressive young athlete. This Gothic Warrior is fearless in the ring, and often risks his own health in order to execute maneuvers.
Christian came to the Federation as Gangrel’s protégé. It was later learned that Christian was in fact Edge’s brother. The three Gothic Warriors had a brief but stormy history until they finally united as the Brood.
This former Light Heavyweight Champion may be light in poundage, but makes up for it in his fearless ring style. He is destined to lead the Federation into the next millennium.
Gangrel
Height: 6'
Weight: 240 pounds
Finishing Move: Impaler
Very little is known about the mysterious individual known as Gangrel. He appears to be a sort of modern-day gothic warrior, down to the ultra-sharp pair of fangs that protrude from his mouth.
After he makes his way to ringside, he sips from a goblet that contains an ominous, viscous fluid. After sating his bizarre thirst, he then proceeds to destroy his opponents with a variety of devastating power maneuvers.
