Blood Moon...(poem by Melanie L. Miller)
 
The bloody moon, looks at me and it was once omnious.
The storm comes in and takes me into it's dark arms.
The mask of light follows it and I am in awe and wonder of it all.
The night calls me yet once again and beckons me to enter into something dark and dismal.
I am the Queen of the night and take a fanciful flight to a dark and deadly paradise but not of good, of only wicked and evil...
I fall into a pool of lust..blood and turmoil and I then know it is I all along that made it that way.
The night that once was my friend is no a fiend.
I am in total anguish and I do not know where to go and what I shall become but for now..I take recluse in the corner of my mind and I find...I quite like it there.

The dreams I have surround me, impound me and I am in the shadows of the night.
The beast...he beckons me to enter into oblivion and I am its friend.
I fall into the dream that I once dreamt long ago and I know now...that I am like that Beast that lurks inside my own thoughts and mind..
